Pop art has alot of abstract expressionism in it mainly because it was also an art for the world war two.

I think surrealism links to pop art aswell because Roy linchtenstein’s work always tell a story and we have to work out what is going on and that is what happens in pop art sometimes.

Dadaism is like pop art to because it is self develped. it had to get it own self out on the street and it did that by mass media,advertisement and it presents itself as an art.

This was Done by Richard Hamilton it is known as ‘Just what is it that makes today’s home so different, so appealing?’.

His work was about making homes more colourful abit like how Warhol did the pop art wallpaper but he focused mainly on objects.

If you saw this imagine the the 20th century you would be really suprised because no one’s house was like that. Houses were really dull and plain.

This painting probably made people want to add some boldness and colour to their home.

pop art accured in United States And britain and the two artists that started of pop art was started of after the world war 2 and that was the main influence of pop art because it showed people how to look at things it a more colourfull,bright and better way.

America had the financial problems after the war and pop art came as part of one of the rescues because it may have just been an art but it had influenced the society alot and it was something different.

pop art influenced many business men in the market because it really helped their products sell due to the packaging.

People were also more interested in art because of the comic books because they enjoyed them and then wanted to know more about art ect.

Roy Lintenstein’s characteristics

Roy developed pop art by giving it more of a meaning. His art work was simular to Warhol’s but he added alot more emotion and story to his work.

His work was used mainly for comic books and also helped in the society because children loved them.

He used alot of basic things like”dots’ to make his art work stand out from the rest.

One of Andy Warhol’s Characteristics was that he had the quality of being really different from other artists because of his work.He made art a part of the society using various media.Warhol took most of his influences for his art work from his own work.

He changed basic things into to something totally different and amazing and ten times more than it was worth before i think that was one of his strong points.

he regained much more fame after his pop art work because it wasn’t just a piece of art it was , advertising, comics ect.

Andy was the main artist that brought pop art to the society because of his campbell cans and coke labels.

Why was pop art more bigger in the 20th century?

It was different because it was somethings new for example

It is not really a big thing nowadays because we are born to it and are used to an colourful life.

Pop art movement was one of the most artistic movements in america in the 20th century probabily because abstract expressionism.

Pop art and pop culture refers to how all the mass products improved like packaging, television, advertisements, comic books, and the cinema.

Pop art help the united states because it attracted the audience and that helped them financially and pop art did start at a crucial time but it came as help. Pop art was a big thing in the society.

Pop art celebrated the fact that war was over in a colourful way.

Pop art showed the modern and everyday objects of the 1950′s -1960′s. This faster helps us to see what life was like in the 1950′-60′s.

Other artists caused alot of conflict like “The young british artists’ because the pop art work was very versatile.
